The economical solution
Components in modular design allow a wide range of flexible combinations to suit every area of application. In many cases, this saves money that would otherwise have to be spent on expensive custom-built solutions. Planning and design are facilitated through the use of standardised components which can be easily adapted to suit the specific location site and can be extended to incorporate project-specific developments.
Depending on your particular application, you can choose between the following materials:
- Aluminium
- Aluminium, anodised
- Hot-dip galvanised steel
- Stainless steel (V4A Material No. 1.4571)

ZARGES fixed ladders - for those who expect that little bit more
ZARGES fixed ladders comply with the following safety standards:
- DIN 18 799-1 (Fixed ladders for inspection, maintenance and cleaning work on buildings and structures - e. g. on buildings, stacks, silos, shafts etc.)
- DIN 14 094-1 (Fire protection - exit ladders for evacuation of personnel in emergencies)
- EN ISO 14122-4 (Access to machinery)
- To round off our range of fixed ladders in accordance with
- DIN 14 094-1 (Emergency exit ladders - fire protection), we can also supply roof walkways, exit platforms and steps etc. in standard and special design in accordance with DIN 14 094-2.
Assembly-friendly design
The system was developed with a view to ensuring quick and easy assembly. All connections are screwed joints. The number of attachment and connection elements has been reduced, taking into consideration the structural requirements, thus significantly facilitating assembly.

ZARGES fall arrester systems are a quick and inexpensive way to provide protection against falling, in particular when ascending tower-like constructions (silos, stacks, telecommunications equipment), but also in shafts in supply and disposal shafts in semi-professional applications. The combination of ZARGES fixed ladders and ZARGES fall arrester systems gives you the advantage of safe and quick ascent and compact design. ZARGES fall arresters, developed as a modular system, include guide rails, assembly material, special passage doors, safety slide mechanisms and safety harnesses in accordance with DIN EN 353-1 ff.
