ZARGES has once again optimised its very successful and legendary universal container K 470:

• These containers come into their own wherever you need to protect valuable and sensitive equipment against extremeenvironmental conditions. For decades, a wide range of satisfied customers from all walks of life, such as the armed forces, scientists, explorers and numerous other professional users, have relied on the high quality standards offered by ZARGES containers.

• Up to now, the containers have been supplied as standard withreliable protection against dust and splashwater (IP 54). Now,our new model can be used wherever you require that littlebit more impermeability and increased protection againstmoisture, jetting water and dust – for example for assemblyon vehicles, boats etc.

• Ingress protection of class IP 65 is achieved by means of anoptimised lid seal with additional silicone sealing.

• A further highlight of this innovative equipment: To ensurethat the lid can be opened reliably even after changes in air pressure, the K 470 IP 65 is equipped with an automatic pressurecompensation valve. A Gore™ membrane ensures that pressuredifferences are continuously compensated for and is at thesame time impermeable to dust, salt, water and other liquids. And thanks to the automatic valve, operating errors can beruled out.

• The K 470 IP 65 was subjected to rigorous testing for imperviousness to dust and jetting water bythe TÜV SÜD, passed the tests with flying coloursand was awarded the TÜV seal.

• The optional seal is available for all K 470 sizes offered in ourcatalogue, with just a few exceptions. In addition, you can alsochoose to combine this new version with additional UN approvalfor the transportation of hazardous goods.
