FachPack 2007ZARGES Problem Solving

  • Major success for ZARGES Case Center at FachPack
  • Complete transport and storage solutions from a single source
  • High-strength, secure and reliable, including the transportation of hazardous goods

The ZARGES Case Center attracted significant interest at FachPack 2007 in Nuremberg. The logistics division of this long-established company from Weilheim exhibited the cases on which their reputation has been built over the past 50 years and more. With ZARGES, solid tradition goes hand in hand with intelligent innovation and the fair gave the company the ideal opportunity to showcase a new range of packaging designs catering for the most demanding applications.

"For our customers, transporting goods safely and securely is becoming an evermore complex issue", says Michael Blum, Product Manager at ZARGES. "For this reason, we have, over the past two years, been looking at innovative ways of improving and developing our product range to meet the increasingly complex requirements of our customers." One example of this is plastic or foam inserts, together with individual colours and labelling. The foundation stone on which these innovations are built is the extensive range of tried-and-tested ZARGES cases and boxes which are available in various sizes and models. Blum was keen to emphasise future opportunities: "Of course, over and above our standard programme, there is huge potential in terms both of special products and in providing bespoke solutions for customers' individual requirements".

Also rolled out at the exhibition was the extended mobility programme for the ZARGES boxes. In addition to the set of add-on castors for trolleys, ZARGES now also offer clip-on castors for all K470, Euro and ZARGES boxes which can be fitted and subsequently removed without the need for special tools. "This makes transport considerably easier - in particular where heavy loads are concerned", said Blum, expressing satisfaction at the gratifying customer reaction to this important accessory.
