Quality on the way to the top - A portrait of the ZARGES TUBESCA Group
"We have the interests of people who work at heights at heart,“ is how Frank Haberstroh, Managing Director of the ZARGES TUBESCA Group, describes the Group's mission. "For many decades, we have supplied high-quality solutions with added safety and cost-effectiveness for these people.“ The international company, based in Weilheim, Upper Bavaria, is the European market leader, selling around two million ladders, mobile scaffold towers and other access systems per year from eight production sites in Germany, France, Spain, Hungary and the USA.
The products of the ZARGES TUBESCA Group are exported to 60 countries, where they are used for professional applications in industry and the trades. The company meets the high requirements of its customers with the help of its strong quality philosophy. It constantly breaks new ground and is committed to continuous innovation - as its over 250 patents prove. And ZARGES can rely on many decades of experience, because the enterprise was founded in 1933 by the Zarges brothers as the first lightweight construction company in Europe.
Today, the ZARGES TUBESCA Group, which employs a workforce of around 1700 and has an annual turnover of 250 million euros, is active in four areas: Access Technology, Logistics, Wind and Air.
The Access Technology division offers a range of around 500 different ladders, ladder units and mobile scaffold towers made from light alloy and plastic for industry, craftsmen, the trades and the service sector. This product range also includes the product groups steps and bridging steps, fixed ladders and shaft equipment.
The Logistics division offers solutions for the transport and storage of goods for industry, military applications, the health sector, trade and many other areas. ZARGES logistics products are the first choice wherever rational material flows or safe transport packaging are of the essence.
The Wind division offers customers in the wind energy sector a system supplier that not only manufactures complete tower fittings, but also installs them on-site.
The Air division manufactures maintenance and assembly platforms for work on aircraft, precisely tailored to the specific aircraft and the individual requirements.
