Ladders

If you are using ladders or stepladders in the workplace then you need to be trained to use them. Most accidents from working at height occur from under 2 metres, with over reaching, miss-use and the use of damaged or inappropriate equipment common reasons for falls. Steps and Step Stools

Steps and step stools are often used in shops, offices, schools and hospitals. They offer a quick ‘step up’ for anyone wanting to pick stock or do the filing; the lack of height or the simplicity of the steps does not, however, mean there are no risks involved. Accidents leading to twisted ankles or broken wrists are common at low heights which is why training should be provided for anyone who uses these products in the workplace.

Low Level Access

Low level podiums and work platforms are a new product category which is increasingly common in the workplace, they often ‘bridge the gap’ between a ladder and scaffold by offering a safe working platform and protective guardrail, and in many cases stabilising legs. They are, however, smaller and easier to transport and erect compared to a standard mobile scaffold tower.

PASMA Low Level Access
