ZARGES, one of Europe’s foremost battery transport solutions specialists, is getting ready to showcase its latest innovations for the safe handling and transportation of batteries at next month’s Battery Cells & Systems Expo.

Taking place at the NEC, Birmingham on the 29th and 30th of June, the Battery Expo is the largest event of its kind in the UK, bringing together businesses from right across the battery supply chain – from automotive manufacturers to electric utility providers.

ZARGES (stand no. 17-501) is a leading provider of casing solutions for battery manufacturers. Among the key products ZARGES will be exhibiting are the K470 battery safe cases, designed to provide a secure means of transporting prototype, certified or defective batteries. Tested and approved as hazardous goods packaging in accordance with UN requirements, the K470 has been successfully fire-tested in a real world setting – guaranteeing that any flame within the container does not spread to adjacent batteries, a key concern when transporting lithium-ion batteries.

Neil Harper, sales manager at ZARGES UK, said: “As the demand for lithium-ion batteries increases, there has never been a better time for us to showcase to the industry our solutions for the safe storage and transportation of them. We are looking forward to welcoming guests and fellow exhibitors to our stand at this year’s Battery Expo, alongside showcasing some of our stand-out offerings to the battery supply chain.”
