Weilheim, December 14, 2023 - The MPO functional and supply trolley from the ZARGES Medical division has won the prestigious German Design Award in the Excellent Product Design - Medical, Rehabilitation and Health Care category. The German Design Council's premium prize is one of the most prestigious awards in the design landscape across all industries and has been identifying key design trends since 2012. The ZARGES MPO care trolley for the medical and healthcare sector impressed the jury with its outstanding product design and its clear differentiation from competing products on the market.

The ZARGES MPO functional and supply trolley was able to assert itself among products and projects from a total of 55 countries. More than half of all submissions this year came from the international arena and were judged and evaluated by renowned design experts from business, education, science and the design industry.

The outstanding and exemplary design performance of the ZARGES Medical modular solution was particularly recognized. The functional trolleys from ZARGES are designed for a wide range of uses and applications in doctors' surgeries, clinics, hospitals and care facilities and are easy and uncomplicated to customize. As mobile workstations, they are also handy, functional and easy to use and, thanks to easy-to-clean surfaces, hygiene is always a top priority.

The German Design Award sets the highest standards for determining the winners. In a nomination process, committees of experts invite only those products and communication design services to take part in the competition that demonstrably stand out for their design quality. All awards are determined in a multi-stage judging process and during a two-day jury meeting
